Hi , I'm Emily
CPA, mom of two, and the person your accountant wishes they had the time to be for you.
I didn't grow up talking much about money but I definitely absorbed the anxiety around it. I got the accounting degree, passed the CPA exam, survived public accounting (barely), and still had to figure the personal side of money completely from scratch.
What I noticed along the way was there are resources for your personal finances and resources for your business finances, but nobody was connecting the two. Your bookkeeper handles the books, your financial advisor handles the investments and you're left somewhere in the middle, pulling money when you need it and hoping the math works out.
That's the gap we're filling.
